            On Saturday, November
18, Ellie Kemper 02 was catching up on her English 331 reading
(Our Mutual Friend, by Charles Dickens) before taking the McCarter
Theatre stage for the second night of Triangles 2000 show,
Puns of Steel. St. Louis native Kemper, an English major, member
of the student improv group Quipfire, and a former varsity field
hockey player, writes and performs for Triangle just as her
mother, Dorothy Jannarone Kemper, did in the early 1970s. Kemper
72 was one of Triangles first female members, performing
in 1971s Cracked Ice and 1972s Blue Genes.
