April 10, 2002: Snapshot
Up in the air By Matthew Winn 03 Geza Szigethy 04, Jacob Weiss 03, and Dave Sachs 02, officers of Princetons Juggling Club, practiced their moves in Dillon Gym in early March. Szigethy, who is from Bainbridge Island, Washington, and plans to major in chemistry, says, Why juggling? I have no idea. But he admits its a good way to relax. Weiss, a computer science major from Birmingham, Alabama, started juggling with his brother, Daniel 01, after they read a story about it in 3-2-1 Contact magazine when they were kids. According to all three, juggling quickly passes from quirky hobby into all-consuming obsession. Says Sachs, a physics major from Philadelphia, When Im not juggling which is about 99 percent of the time I am probably sleeping or working on my thesis. Or at least I ought to be sleeping or working on my thesis. The club puts on an annual scripted and choreographed show and appears at a number of smaller events throughout the year.
