October 5, 2005: Whatever happened to...
 Whatever
happened to... Star running back and captain of the 1993 football team, a two-time first-team All-American, and 1993 Ivy League Player of the Year, Keith Elias ’94 left Princeton having shattered 21 University records — a dozen of which still stand. After graduation, Elias played for five years in the NFL, for the New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts. He ended his sports career with a brief season in the Xtreme Football League. Though he expected that playing in the NFL would be a dream come true,
Elias called it the “most disappointing experience of my life.”
Since leaving professional football, Elias spends his free time as an
inspirational speaker and a volunteer with Christian and youth outreach
programs — especially the Christian and Missionary Alliance and
the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is vice president of development
for the medical company Hemo Concepts Inc., in Eatontown, N.J.
