A letter from an alumnus about
cheerleaders November 13 Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought a cheerleader was someone who led cheers. I saw none of that at the Yale game on November 10. Those who were dressed like cheerleaders spent their time doing an occasional line dance and an occasional gymnastics feat. The only cheer I heard was led by a member of the Class of 1951 in the stands. I think that the cheerleaders should turn in their megaphones until they learn that a Princeton Locomotive is more than a train that runs to the Junction and back. I'd be glad to take a megaphone off their hands and put it to better use than they do. Tom Daubert '52 Respond
