• Input/Output Whitening

  • XOR each 32-bit word with certain key word Ki.
  • All Ki generated by Key
  • Substantially increases the difficulty of attacking

• Feistel-Like Structure

  • The 1 bit rotation is the only difference
  • The rotation could be moved into F to create a pure Feistel structure
  • 16 rounds in total
